Sunflower Season Info
We have several offerings to accompany our U-Pick - read on for updates and improvements to your visit to the farm this summer!
A few things to remember: The majority of our fields are behind our house and up a HILL. While not easy for everyone - it is worth the wander to the top to see the valley views amongst the sunflowers!
The terrain is dirt or mowed paths - sneakers and boots are recommended (although you'll probably see us barefoot!)
Dogs MUST be on a leash and picked up after.
Sunflowers are just $1/stem that you cut, and you can also bring a 5-gallon bucket to fill for $40 on ANY open day! We will bring back the scavenger hunt and can't wait to see all of your pictures on social media - be sure to tag us @songinfarm!
To help with improving your experience to the farm, we are implementing a small entrance fee of $5. 12years and under are free.
Your fee will include entry to our fields, access to the sunflower MAZE, viewing of our animals: chickens, pigs, and HIGHLAND COWS - multiple photo props and opportunities, and even hay wagon rides up when available.
Roadside and lot parking will be marked, and a porta potty will be available for your convenience.

Fill a Bucket for $40
Fill a bucket for $40 will be a daily special this year! Bring your 5-gallon bucket, stuff it with as many sunflowers as you can, and add some water from the hose for your ride home.
$1/Stem Sunflowers
Pick your own sunflowers as you walk around the hills surrounding the farm! You'll be surprised how the flowers pop out and call your name! Feel free to get up into the fields to get the ones you want. Limited clippers and baskets are available to use - bring your own if you have them!
Photography
Photographers of all levels are required to purchase a $20 single shoot location fee - OR a season pass for $90. Season passes can be purchased online or on site at the entrance. Single shoot can be paid for the day of. No appointment is necessary - please note that your photo subjects will need to do a little walking.
Bouquet Classes
Our high demand bouquet classes are back! There are 8 bouquet making classes to choose from. Be sure to click "load more" on the home page to see all dates - BACK this year are our cut flower + guided foraging appointments. These do not include arranging - tie them up and take them home to enjoy!
Sunflowers & Sunsets Events
$5/person fee at the entrance. 12 & under are free. We have 8 Sunset dates for 2026. They are August 14th, August 15th, August 21st, August 22nd, August 28th, August 29th, September 4th, and September 5th. Enjoy tractor rides up the hill with your chairs and blankets beginning at 5pm. Early entry is also welcomed to enjoy the sunflower maze, scenery, etc.
Scavenger Hunt
Many props are placed around the sunflower fields - enjoy checking off the items you find and be sure to tag your findings #SonginFarmFinds2026. A checklist can be scooped up at the entrance or click on the graphic above to save it to your phone!
